(BEIJING, September 19) -- The children of Zizhong Primary School in Xicheng District received the Olympic Manners Journal on Monday. The Ziizhong students spent the day learning about public manners, the Olympic Torch Relay, and general Olympic knowledge.

Counselors from Xishiku Primary School and representatives of the school's Young Pioneers visited Zizhong Primary School to talk about the significance of the Olympic Manners Journal and also shared their experiences with Olympic activities at their school.

At the ceremony for the hand over of the journal, 29 of Zizhong's "ambassadors of manner" represented the 29th Olympic Games. Dressed in blue, green, red, yellow, and black, the 29 ambassadors stood in a formation of the Olympic Rings and held a torch relay where both a torch and the Olympic Manners Journal were handed off.

In addition, the students proudly displayed self-made "Olympic promise" cards, and the teachers joined the students in signing their names on a special scroll to attest to their enthusiasm for the Games.
